Meet the Team
Our team is ready to leap into action.
For many years, Rick Zimmer has owned Zimmer and Associates, a financial and insurance firm in Reese. He has been assisting clients by designing, implementing, and monitoring solid retirement income strategies for 30 years, including life, health, and disability insurance.
In addition to his continuing education, Rick served as a board member and president of the Saginaw Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.” Rick was also the legislative chairman for the state of Michigan from 1993–1994. He is currently a member of the National Health Insurance Association.
Rick has resided in Reese since 1961 and his diligently served the community for many years. He has been an active chamber board member for 30 years, and is also active in the Tuscola Council of Chambers, the Reese Education Foundation, and the Tuscola Community Foundation (TCF). He was on the TCF’s board for 10 years and served as president for seven years.
Rick and his wife, Renee, have been married for 41 years. They loved raising their three children and are enjoying their seven grandchildren. Rick and Renee have been members of the Christ Lutheran Church for many years. Rick has served as Council President and continues to serve on many committees for the church.
¹ Rick earned his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation in 1991, Chartered Financial Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2000, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2009, and his Certified Social Security Adviser (CSSA) designation in 2017.
